This lightweight demo is separate from InkFolio's full book RSVP mode. Upload a PDF or EPUB in the main reader to use RSVP with your library, saved progress and book controls.
How it works
Less eye travel. One controlled reading stream.
Normal reading asks your eyes to move across lines, find the next line, and repeatedly reposition. RSVP keeps the presentation area fixed and advances the text for you.
That does not mean “faster is always better.” The useful speed is the one where you can still understand the material. That is why InkFolio lets you adjust WPM instead of forcing a single pace.

Full InkFolio RSVP
The demo is only the doorway
In the main InkFolio reader, RSVP is connected to the actual book. You can upload a PDF or EPUB, keep your position, change speed, jump through the text, and switch back to the immersive book view when you want context.
FAQ
RSVP reading questions
What does RSVP mean in reading?
RSVP stands for Rapid Serial Visual Presentation. Instead of scanning full lines, words appear in a fixed viewing area at a pace you control.
Can I use InkFolio RSVP with a PDF or EPUB?
Yes. The demo on this page is for quickly trying RSVP with text. The full InkFolio reader can extract text from supported PDFs and EPUBs and run RSVP alongside your book progress.
What WPM should I start with?
A comfortable starting point is usually around your normal reading pace. Start lower, then increase the speed while you can still understand and remember what you are reading.
Does InkFolio upload my books?
InkFolio is designed around local-first reading. Core book processing and storage happen on your device rather than requiring every imported book to be uploaded to a remote server.
