Can I read a PDF like a real book?
Yes. InkFolio is designed for long-form reading rather than only document inspection. Its book mode presents supported PDFs in a more immersive reading layout while keeping the original file on your device.
Does InkFolio upload my PDF to a server?
InkFolio is local-first. Core PDF importing, reading and local library storage are designed to happen on your device instead of requiring every book to be uploaded to a remote server.
Can I highlight, take notes and listen to a PDF?
InkFolio includes active-reading tools such as highlights, notes, bookmarks and text-to-speech alongside the reading experience.
Can I speed-read a PDF?
Yes. After opening a supported PDF in the full InkFolio reader, you can switch to RSVP mode and move through extracted text at a WPM you control.
Does InkFolio also read EPUB files?
Yes. InkFolio supports EPUB as well as PDF, so your personal reading library is not limited to one document format.
